Job summary

Maninplace-Estate-Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting an Estate Accommodation Housekeeper to maintain high cleaning standards across our properties in Telford & Wrekin. You will prepare accommodations for new arrivals, clean bedrooms and communal areas, identify repairs, and support the Property Standards Team while remaining respectful to residents rebuilding their lives.

The role features Monday to Friday hours, 40 hours per week, and requires a driving licence with access to a vehicle

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic or commercial cleaning.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Organised and reliable; able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills; professional tone.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle insured for business use.
• Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accommodation for new customer arrivals, including beds with fresh linen.
• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas to a high standard.
• Carry out scheduled deep cleans across accommodations.
• Maintain property presentation and identify repairs.
• Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and follow COSHH requirements.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and COSHH compliance.
• Support safe, welcoming environments for customers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high accommodation standards.

Location: Across Maninplace properties in Telford & Wrekin
Salary: £13,988 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We're looking for an Estate Accommodation Housekeeper who takes genuine pride in creating high standards and understands the difference a clean, safe environment can make to someone's wellbeing.

About the role

This is much more than a housekeeping role.

Working across our accommodation portfolio, you'll prepare properties for new arrivals, maintain communal areas, carry out deep cleans and help ensure every home meets the high standards our customers deserve.

You'll also play an important part in identifying maintenance issues, ensuring properties remain safe, and supporting the wider Property Standards Team.

Although your primary focus is maintaining our accommodation, you'll often work around customers who may be rebuilding their lives after experiencing homelessness. A respectful, compassionate and non-judgemental approach is therefore just as important as your housekeeping skills.

No two days are the same, and you'll enjoy working across different locations while being part of a supportive and friendly team.

• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas to a consistently high standard.
• Carrying out scheduled deep cleans across our accommodation.
• Maintaining property presentation and identifying repairs.
• Using commercial cleaning equipment and products safely.
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and COSHH requirements.
• Supporting safe, welcoming environments for our customers.
• Working closely with colleagues to maintain excellent accommodation standards.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience in domestic or commercial cleaning.
• Has excellent attention to detail.
• Is organised, reliable and able to work independently.
• Can communicate confidently and professionally.
• Has an understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals.
• Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle insured for business use.
• Is willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check.

Experience within housing, supported accommodation or homelessness services would be an advantage but isn't essential.
