Job summary

I2I Recruitment is seeking an insurance operations professional to handle standard and non-standard insurance transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. The role demands strong organisation, Excel skills and a solid grasp of policy lifecycles within London Market processes.

You will work in a collaborative team, prioritising workload, supporting colleagues and contributing to data quality initiatives while developing broader technical processing expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience in an insurance technician, technical processing or insurance operations role.
• Good understanding of insurance principles and the policy lifecycle.
• Knowledge of broking, claims, premiums and/or delegated authority.
• Understanding of London Market processes and insurance distribution.
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident using Excel and relevant business systems.

Responsibilities

• Process standard and increasingly non-standard insurance transactions and documentation.
• Manage and prioritise workload to meet SLAs and deadlines.
• Check documentation, data and management information for accuracy.
• Identify and resolve routine issues, escalating where needed.
• Carry out quality control checks on other technicians’ work.
• Support and train less experienced team members.
• Identify errors, omissions and potential risks and recommend action.
• Work closely with Technical and Broking teams and build internal relationships.

• Understanding of the relationship between technical processing and IBA
