Job summary

i2i Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an Insurance Operations Technician to process standard and non-standard insurance transactions, while prioritising workload to meet SLAs. You will check accuracy of data and documents, resolve routine issues, and support training for junior members of the team.

The role requires understanding of policy lifecycles, broking or delegated authority, and proficiency with Excel. Hybrid working with 2 days WFH is offered in modern offices in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in an insurance technician, technical processing or operations role.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles and policy lifecycle.
• Knowledge of broking, claims, premiums and/or delegated authority.
• Familiarity with London Market processes and insurance distribution.
• Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficient using Excel and relevant business systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• CII Cert or equivalent technical knowledge/experience.

Responsibilities

• Process standard and non-standard insurance transactions and documentation.
• Prioritise workload to meet SLAs and accuracy standards.

• Identify and resolve routine issues; escalate where needed.
• Carry out quality control checks on colleagues' work.
• Support and train less experienced team members.
• Identify errors and risks; recommend actions.
• Collaborate with Technical and Broking teams and build internal relationships.
• Participate in projects, process improvements, and data quality initiatives.
