Job summary

Dynamite Recruitment seeks a Fire and Security Engineer to cover Sunderland, Teesside and Durham postcodes for a renowned Fire and Security business. You will service, maintain and repair fire alarm and security systems, performing fault finding to deliver first-fix solutions wherever possible.

You will work to British Standards and uphold the company’s values, maintaining a strong reputation while managing your own workload.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the British Standards.
• Experience with fire alarm and security systems.
• Experience with FIA units 1 and 5 is preferred.
• Outgoing and proactive personality to manage own work and represent the company values.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and small works.

Fire and Security Engineer

Location: Sunderland/Teesside/Durham County

Our client is a highly recognised, industry leading Fire and Security business and is growing rapidly. Due to their expansion, they are seeking a Fire and Security Engineer to join the team covering Sunderland, Teesside and Durham postcodes

Fire bias engineers will be considered!

The Role:

• To carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and small works
• To work with a variety of fire alarm and security systems
• Fault finding to conduct a 1st fix solution where possible
• To work to the British Standards at all times
• Maintain a good reputation on behalf of our client is amust.

The Candidate:

• Good knowledge of the British Standards
• Knowledge of FIA units 1 + 5
• Experience in Fire Systems
• Knowledge of GENT and/or Notifier (desirable but not essential as training can be given)
• You must have an outgoing and proactive personality to manage own work and exhibit the company's vision and values
