Job summary

Dynamite Recruitment is supporting a well-established Fire & Security business to recruit a Fire and Security Engineer covering the Sunderland to Teesside area. You will service, maintain and carry out small works on a range of fire alarm and security systems.

Responsibilities include fault finding to achieve a 1st fix where possible, and working to British Standards at all times. Training for GENT/Notifier can be provided, with emphasis on company values and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Experience in Fire Systems.
• Knowledge of British Standards is preferred.
• Outgoing and proactive personality with the ability to manage own work and align with company values.

Fire and Security Engineer

Location: Sunderland/Teesside/Durham

Our client is a highly recognised and well-established Fire & Security business with an excellent reputation across the industry. Due to continued growth and expansion of their engineering team, they are looking to appoint a Fire & Security Engineer to cover the Sunderland to Teesside area

FIRE ALARM engineers will be considered and upskilled to security and gas suppression systems

The Role:

• To carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and small works
• To work with a variety of fire alarm and security systems
• Fault finding to conduct a 1st fix solution where possible
• To work to the British Standards at all times
• Maintain a good reputation on behalf of our client is a must.

The Candidate:

• Good knowledge of the British Standards
• Knowledge of FIA units 1 + 5
• Experience in Fire Systems
• Knowledge of GENT and/or Notifier (desirable but not essential as training can be given)
• You must have an outgoing and proactive personality to manage own work and exhibit the company's vision and values
