Job summary

Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust is seeking a tutor to deliver Essential Skill qualifications and support learners pursuing Apprenticeships. The role involves planning, assessment, and collaboration with the Digital Learning Manager and workforce education teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum L2 Essential Skills in Application of Number, Communication, Digital Literacy or legacy equivalent
• Level 5 Certificate in Teaching Adults or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of how to support learners with additional learning needs

Responsibilities

• Organise and deliver training, assessments, workshops with centre based/virtual activities to enable learners to achieve regulated qualifications.
• Plan and deliver effective learning, teaching and assessment by using a range of methods to effectively enhance the learning process.
• Support Essential Skills delivery across Apprenticeship programmes.
• Use results of diagnostic assessments to plan learner support and delivery.
• Meet delivery, marking and submission targets for Essential Skills Qualifications, as agreed with Digital Learning Manager/Head of Workforce Education and Development.
