Job Title

Warehouse and Forklift Operative (Temporary contract, January 2026 – June 2026)

Location

Stroud

Hours

39 hours a week, 10:00–18:30 Monday to Friday (Jan–Feb 09:30–18:00)

Pay

£14.10 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day warehouse activities
  • Maintain accurate computer records and conduct stock taking
  • Operate counterbalance forklift to unload vehicles and move palletised products
  • Load, align and move products; perform manual loading/unloading as required
  • Provide support to production when needed
  • Consult with delivery/collection companies and coordinate with other departments to meet daily targets
  • Make operational decisions independently and follow good warehouse practices
Qualifications & Skills
  • Full counterbalance forklift licence
  • Experience with stock systems is an advantage
  • Computer literate
  • Strong initiative, decision making, teamwork and communication skills
