Job summary

HRBS Global is seeking an ESS Technical Solutions Manager to support the UK sales team by turning customer needs into complete energy storage solutions for utility-scale and C&I projects. The role blends technical pre-sales, solution design and commercial analysis in a remote capacity.

You will partner with sales reps, R&D and clients across the UK, conduct on-site surveys, draft proposals, and manage quotations while aligning with market trends in energy storage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Battery, Electrochemistry, Power Electronics, Power Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of pre-sales technical support or solutions experience in energy storage systems (utility-scale / C&I storage).
• Fluent English as a working language.
• Based in the UK, with the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Accompany sales reps on client visits, analyse customer needs, provide advisory input, and draft project proposals.
• Work closely with R&D and sales teams on market research and competitor analysis of the UK storage market.
• Develop an understanding of energy storage product performance and create end-to-end solutions based on customer and sales requirements.
• Manage project quotations and profitability analysis.
• Conduct on-site surveys for prospective projects across the UK.
• Identify pain points in key industries, design integrated solutions tailored to them, and engage customers directly to shape demand.

• 3+ years of pre-sales technical support or solutions experience in energy storage systems (utility-scale / C&I storage).
• Fluent English as a working language. Shortlisted candidates will be assessed through testing.
• Based in the UK, with the right to work in the UK.

Preferred Background

• Experience at an ESS or BESS company.
• Relevant industry resources and experience in utility-scale and C&I storage.
