Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking an ESS Technical Engineer to provide technical support, product training and pre/post-sales expertise for Energy Storage Systems across the UK.

The role involves working with distributors and installers, delivering demonstrations, and collaborating with engineering to address UK market requirements and product improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant electrical installation/testing qualification and experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in ESS project management or technical service.
• Experience with subcontractor management and warranty handling.
• Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards and PV/ESS installation practices.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics.
• Strong customer and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel locally within the UK.
