Overview

ESOL Tutor for UASC Students in the Cheshire East area. Prospero Teaching is recruiting for an experienced Tutor who is comfortable teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). We are looking for tutors who can work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs with a creative, flexible and holistic approach to raise attainment and support their educational journey.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ESOL content to UASC students.
• Work with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) delivering content on English and Maths.
• Be flexible with hours and travel across Cheshire East.

Location & Schedule

Located in Cheshire East and the surrounding areas. Flexible hours available to suit your needs. Starting alongside the academic year. Hours aligned with standard school times; morning and evening sessions are available.

Compensation

£25 - £30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate

• Be a QTS or have relevant UK experience.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with ESOL or UASC (desirable).

What we need from you

• A valid Right to Work within the UK.
• An Enhanced DBS that is on the update service, or the ability to complete one.
• References to cover the last two years of employment.
• The ability to commute across Cheshire East.
