Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a driven ESG data and governance specialist for a 12‑month fixed term, three days a week in Nottingham. You will design the ESG data architecture, ensure data quality and provide actionable insights to executive stakeholders.

Reporting to the Head of ESG, Strategy, Governance and Data, you will drive disclosures, support audits, and lead strategic data projects across the organisation. A senior, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, written and spoken.
• Leadership to drive projects and guide on sensitive issues.
• Experience translating data insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Able to present to senior levels and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement scalable ESG data system architecture with governance across sources.
• Develop QA/validation processes for ESG metrics and disclosures.
• Translate ESG data insights into recommendations for cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, sustainability, and finance to ensure data integrity.
