Job summary

Boots is seeking an ESG data lead within the ESG Centre of Excellence in Nottingham to design architecture, collect and analyse ESG data, and support disclosures for regulatory compliance.

You will report to the Head of ESG, Strategy, Governance and Data, collaborating with IT, compliance, sustainability and finance teams to maintain data integrity and audit-ready disclosures during a 12-month fixed-term, 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate ESG data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience coordinating with IT, compliance, sustainability and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement a scalable ESG data system architecture and govern data sources.
• Develop quality assurance and validation processes for ESG metrics and disclosures.
• Translate ESG data insights to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, sustainability and finance teams to ensure data integrity and audit-ready disclosures.
• Drive ESG data-driven projects such as materiality assessments and climate analysis.
• Attend external meetings and represent the company as needed.
