Job summary

Otis London is seeking an experienced Construction Field Manager to lead escalator installation, replacement, refurbishment and modernisation projects across the London Underground and other rail environments. You will manage site operations, lead installation teams and ensure safety, quality and budget targets are met.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of escalator construction, excellent planning and stakeholder management, with SSSTS/SMSTS and rail/infrastructure experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing escalator installation, replacement or modernisation projects.
• Strong knowledge of escalator construction methodologies, installation techniques and industry best practices.
• Experience working within rail, transport infrastructure or other safety-critical environments.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (essential).
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
• Ensure all activities are delivered in accordance with London Underground standards, company procedures and statutory regulations.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.
• Monitor project progress against programme milestones and implement recovery plans where required.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and site logistics to support project delivery.
