Job summary

Govia Thameslink Railway Ltd. is seeking a Senior Programme Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of ERTMS and ETCS initiatives, supporting the East Coast Digital Programme and future digital railway efforts across the UK.

The role requires strong leadership, governance and change management skills to drive large-scale programmes in a complex rail environment. You will work with executive stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading large-scale digital railway programmes.
• Experience managing budgets, governance and complex industry interfaces.
• Ability to drive transformational change in safety-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of major digital railway, rolling stock and asset renewal programmes.
• Drive programme governance, risk management, financial performance and stakeholder engagement.
• Embed change and ensure new systems transition to BAU operations.
• Build relationships with GTR, Network Rail, regulators and trade unions.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver against strategic objectives.
