Job summary

Magna International is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer to support and develop the QAD 2014SE ERP environment and related integrations. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable ERP solutions across manufacturing, planning, inventory, purchasing, and logistics.

The role requires strong Linux administration skills, experience with Progress OpenEdge and EDI, and the ability to manage complex ERP modules while driving continuous improvement and digital

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience supporting and developing QAD 2014SE.
• Strong experience with Progress OpenEdge / ABL and Progress Database Administration.
• Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
• EDI systems and integrations experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing ERP processes.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application integration concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration, support, maintenance, and enhancement of the QAD 2014SE ERP environment.
• Work with business users to gather requirements and deliver scalable ERP solutions.
• Support ERP modules including: Manufacturing, Planning, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Sales Order Processing, Logistics, Finance interfaces.
• Involvement in system upgrades, patches, testing, and deployment activities.
• Maintain and optimise Progress OpenEdge databases and perform routine maintenance.
• Develop and support system integrations between QAD and external applications.
• Coordinate with external consultants and software vendors during onboarding and implementation.
