Job summary

ABL Health Ltd seeks a People Business Partner in the People and Culture team to provide specialist employee relations guidance to operational managers across UK services. You will lead on TUPE for new service mobilisations, support investigations and hearings, and drive People plans aligned with KPI data.

Role requires CIPD Level 7 qualification or commitment to attaining it, willingness to travel UK sites (overnight stays), and strong knowledge of UK employment law.

Qualifications

• CIPD level 7 qualification, or committed to achieving it within an agreed timescale
• Experience managing complex TUPE transfers
• Substantial operational People/HR experience post qualification

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice to managers on employee relations, including sickness absence, TUPE, discipline, grievance, harassment and discrimination
• Mobilise new services with complex TUPE transfers
• Lead investigations, disciplinary, grievance and capability hearings with accurate records
• Partner with operational managers to build People plans, manage change and interpret KPI data
• Coach managers on applying People policies and practices
• Develop and implement People policies and keep up to date with employment law
• Lead employee surveys, engagement initiatives and action on exit interview feedback
• Review resourcing, skills mix, recruitment and retention plans with managers
• Monitor performance through PDRs and one-to-ones, and compile People KPI reports
• Lead EDI actions and safeguarding health and wellbeing initiatives
• Oversee learning and development needs, compulsory training and onboarding, and deliver People training for managers
• Deputise for the Head of People and Culture, cover for other People Business Partners and lead People projects
