Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 20-bed hospital. You will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care during night shifts on weekends (Friday–Sunday, 7pm–7am).

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or similar.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-specific nursing care in ER.
• Complete accurate, concise medical record documentation.
• Monitor and record patient signs, symptoms and status.
• Follow physician orders for nursing care delivery.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures.
