Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH. You will deliver professional nursing care, collaborate with the care team, and support rapid assessment and treatment of acute emergencies.

The role requires RN license in NH or a compact state, BCLS, ACLS, and a BSN is preferred. You will precept teammates, educate patients and families, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license in NH or any other compact state.
• BCLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required or within 1 year of hire.
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care within the assigned unit.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Mentors and precepts new staff and supports education of team members.
• Performs comprehensive physical assessments and patient histories on admission.
• Develops and implements care plans, prioritizes patient needs, and evaluates outcomes.
• Communicates effectively during patient hand-offs and discharge planning.
