Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited in Tilbury is seeking an experienced ER focused HR Advisor to join a large and varied business. You will support managers and employees across a diverse workforce in a fast-paced operational setting.

You’ll manage complex ER matters, support business change, and contribute to maintaining positive employee and industrial relations across the organisation. The role offers a 36-hour week, a starting salary around £46k, discretionary bonus, and progression

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR Advisor or Employee Relations role.
• CIPD qualification (or equivalent) in HR.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
• Experience in unionised environments.
• Experience managing complex ER casework in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to coach and influence managers with credibility.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a range of employee relations cases from start to finish, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence matters.
• Provide practical HR advice and guidance to managers, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
• Support union engagement activities, consultation processes and industrial relations initiatives.
• Assist with organisational change projects, including restructures, redeployment and redundancy processes.
• Analyse ER trends and recommend improvements to reduce risk and strengthen management capability.
• Support HR administration, recruitment, onboarding and people-related processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
