Job summary

Engineering & Infrastructure Organisation is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner / Senior HR Advisor for a 12-month fixed term contract in Hattersley, Greater Manchester. The role blends hands-on ER work with advisory support for line managers, across the North region, with hybrid working and regional travel.

The successful candidate will manage a high-volume ER caseload, apply HR policies, navigate employment law, and partner with managers to implement the People Plan and related HR

Qualifications

• Experience in employee relations with day-to-day HR advisory support.
• Ability to coach managers on HR policies and employment law.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied and high-volume employee relations caseload.
• Advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues.
• Provide practical guidance on HR policies and employment law.
• Coach managers through employee relations matters and difficult conversations.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development on training needs.
• Support workforce planning and organisational change initiatives.
