Job summary

Adaptable Recruitment in Merseyside is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to deliver a high-quality HR advisory service with a focus on Employee Relations. You will partner with managers across the business and handle a broad range of people matters.

The role involves managing ER caseloads, advising on disciplinary and absence matters, and supporting formal HR processes with accurate documentation. There are opportunities for progression within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor role with significant ER exposure.
• Confidence managing complex employee relations cases independently.
• A sound understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to influence, coach and support managers effectively.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied ER caseload from start to finish.
• Advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and suspension cases.
• Support managers through formal HR processes and ensure a compliant, consistent approach.
• Prepare HR documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with Occupational Health providers and support wellbeing-related cases.
• Assist with Employment Tribunal administration where required.
• Collaborate with the wider HR team to deliver an exceptional HR service.
