Job summary

Cameron James Professional Recruitment is representing a well‑established organisation in Hull, seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is full‑time on-site with an option of a condensed four‑day week to support busy operational teams.

You will own a high‑volume ER caseload, coach managers through investigations and hearings, and ensure fair, consistent people practices across a large workforce.

Qualifications

• Strong ER experience and solid knowledge of UK employment law.
• Able to manage high-volume ER caseload and provide clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead ER cases from initial contact through to resolution.
• Coach managers through investigations, hearings and formal processes.
• Manage long-term sickness cases and OH referrals where needed.
• Produce audit-ready documentation and maintain records.
• Build strong relationships across operations and HR and participate in team projects.
