Job summary

Cameron James is seeking an HR Advisor for a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract to support busy operations, with full-time on-site duties and an option to condense into a four-day week.

You'll lead a high-volume employee relations caseload, partner with managers, and help shape a fair, people-focused culture across a large workforce while handling investigations, reporting and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong ER experience and solid knowledge of UK employment law.
• Ability to manage cases independently and provide balanced recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead ER cases from first conversation through to conclusion.
• Coach managers through investigations, hearings and formal processes.
• Manage long-term sickness cases, including OH referrals and reasonable adjustments.
• Produce audit-ready documentation.
• Build strong, trusted relationships across operations and HR.
• Contribute to team projects, process improvements and wider people initiatives.
