Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare, Inc. is seeking an ER Advisor to join our Central People team in Alcester, delivering expert employee relations support across the national care network.

You will manage end-to-end cases, advise managers, and ensure consistent application of policies and employment law. With proven ER experience, solid knowledge of UK employment law, CIPD Level 5 (or working towards), and a full UK driving licence, you’ll help drive improvements in people processes while partnering with

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an ER or People Advisor role managing complex, high‑volume caseloads.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organisation, judgement and attention to detail.
• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards).
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Managing end‑to‑end employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence matters
• Advising managers on safeguarding issues in line with care sector standards
• Ensuring consistent application of People policies and employment law across the business
• Contributing to the review and development of People policies and processes
• Maintaining accurate case documentation in line with legal and organisational standards
• Working closely with People Business Partners, Safeguarding, L&D and Operational leaders
