Job summary

Schonfeld in London is seeking an Associate for the Equity Middle Office to support trade workflows across OTC products, working with an experienced Operations team to enforce strong policies and data integrity.

You will process bookings, confirmations, and static data, ensuring accurate trade flow across systems and collaborating with trading desks and PMs. A Finance-related degree and hedge fund ops exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related degree.
• Experience in Operations; buy-side hedge fund exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives: IRS, CDS, Bond TRS, Equity TRS, Div Swaps, OTC Options, Vol/Var Swaps.
• Experience with Prime Broker portals and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and support the broader operations team.
• Strong communication and client service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process trade bookings and lifecycle events for OTC products.
• Trade affirmations and confirmations with brokers and counterparties.
• Static data management for OTC products.
• Ensure trade flow across systems including resets and terminations.
• Affirm cash settlement amounts and process cash wires.
• Collaborate with trading desk, PMs and technology teams.
• T0 trade matching using MTM, Markitwire and PB portals.
• T0 reconciliations and ad-hoc requests across OTC asset classes.
• Support data accuracy reporting (P&L, NAV, positions).
• Assist swap resets, dividend accruals, and margin queries.
