Job summary

Delta Capita in London is seeking an Equities Middle Office - Trade Support professional for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role supports OTC and equity derivatives across vanilla and exotic products, within a tight, deadline-driven environment.

You will own daily controls, validate bookings, manage reconciliations, and drive resolution of breaks, with strong liaison to the trading desk and downstream teams. A self-starter mindset, customer focus and robust analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent: analytical disciplines considered.
• Strong product knowledge across equity derivatives (OTC vanilla and exotic options).
• Experience with reconciliations, break investigation and exception management in trade support or middle office.
• Practical understanding of corporate actions and their impact on derivative contracts.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with senior internal clients.
• Demonstrated analytical, detail-oriented mindset with emphasis on control.
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable meeting intraday deadlines and maintaining controls under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Jump in on ongoing issues, understand root cause, and own resolution through to closure.
• Liaise with desk and senior stakeholders to respond to queries and resolve issues.
• Review and validate trade bookings across OTC vanilla and exotic products; ensure accuracy at capture and in risk system.
• Perform and review daily reconciliations across positions, cash and collateral; investigate breaks to root cause.
• Own daily exception queues; prioritise by risk and client impact; escalate where needed.
• Manage corporate actions on derivatives; coordinate adjustments and validate outcomes.
• Process expiries, exercises and assignments on exotic structures and novations.
• Resolve matching and tradeflow issues with counterparties and internal teams to improve STP.
• Act as escalation point for settlement and cash breaks with Settlements and Collateral.
• Continuously seek efficient improvements to daily control processes and STP.
