Job summary

Vp plc in Exeter is seeking a delivery driver to provide excellent customer service by delivering and collecting equipment from customers, suppliers and other Vp businesses. You will support the branch with high-quality handovers and respond to basic equipment queries.

You will drive safely, use M42 system and route planning software, complete deliveries and handovers, and participate in training. The role values flexibility and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Must have multi-drop delivery experience.
• Hold a Category B driving license, with a strong emphasis on safe driving.
• Ability to engage effectively with customers during technical handovers.
• Basic numeracy, IT and literacy skills for administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with the local area to optimise routes.
• Display flexibility in adapting to varying job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely and in compliance with UK laws.
• Interact with customers during deliveries and collections, addressing queries.
• Perform thorough cleaning and testing of returned equipment.
• Use the M42 system to streamline operations and track deliveries.
• Utilise route planning software to optimise routes and efficiency.
• Accurately complete all necessary processes related to deliveries, collections, and handovers.
• Undertake any mandatory and other training required to do the job role.
