Job summary

Vp plc is seeking a Driver/Branch Assistant based in Cardiff to support our on-site branch operations. You will drive a 3.5T vehicle to deliver and collect equipment, demonstrate usage to customers when needed, and return to base to join the branch team.

The role emphasizes reliable service, health and safety, and customer interaction. The position requires a valid UK driving licence, practical experience with multi-drop deliveries, and a willingness to learn about our equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Complete all deliveries and collections as allocated to you by your line manager
• Perform demonstrations and ensure sound presentation of all equipment
• Carry out vehicle checks every morning i.e. oil and water levels, lights and tyres
• Being aware and alert to any new business opportunity
• Ensuring all customer and business documents are completed in full
• Be a champion of health and safety, maintaining MEP’s impeccable track record
