Job summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking an Equipment Advisor to support children with complex health needs by arranging specialist equipment for home, school and community settings. You will work with health and social care professionals to review requests and provide practical guidance on equipment provision.

Training on the ProCloud system will be provided; strong IT, communication and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment services not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Review and screen equipment requests with justification.
• Advise prescribers and healthcare professionals on equipment provision and policies.
• Coordinate equipment orders: check stock, authorise in ProCloud, liaise with technicians.
• Build collaborative relationships with therapists, schools, healthcare professionals and internal teams.
• Maintain records, update spreadsheets, support budget monitoring, identify cost-saving solutions.
