Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd is seeking an Occupational Therapist / Clinical Advisor to join the Wirral-based Community Equipment Service at the Bromborough depot. You will provide expert equipment advice, support prescribers and operational staff, and help deliver a high-quality loan service.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registered.

Responsabilités

• Deliver a person-centred Community Equipment Service with senior management and clinical collaboration.
• Provide specialist support and advice to referrers and service colleagues to maximise equipment recycling and manage special orders.
• Offer expert advice on equipment procurement and clinical reasoning for service provision.
• Lead evidence-based audits/projects with CES managers and commissioners and compile written reports.
• Collaborate with health & social care professionals and commissioners to develop best practice and governance.
• Deliver training and demonstrations as needed for contract requirements.
• Support catalogue systems to maximise utilisation and value for money.

Formation

Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy

HCPC registration

Significant post-qualification experience at a senior level

Experience in community equipment services

Solid IT skills (Microsoft Office & in-house systems)
