Job summary

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior leader to head the Nervecentre EPR programme for 15 months. The post holder will provide strategic leadership, oversee planning, governance, delivery, finances, risks and benefits, and ensure delivery within scope, budget and quality standards.

Hybrid working is available, with on-site attendance at Sherwood Forest Hospital at least three days a week.

Qualifications

• Master’s level education or equivalent experience.
• Project management qualification (MSP or PRINCE2 Practitioner) or equivalent.
• Leadership qualification or senior management experience.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for delivering the Nervecentre EPR programme.
• Lead programme planning, governance, delivery, finances, risks and benefits.
• Oversee all workstreams including clinical transformation, business change, technical delivery, integration, testing, training, deployment, operational readiness and benefits realisation
• Drive clinical and operational transformation to maximise adoption, patient safety and service improvement
• Build relationships with senior leaders, clinicians, suppliers and external partners
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across clinical, operational and technical areas
• Oversee go-live and operational readiness activities
• Manage resources, contracts and suppliers
• Deliver programme assurance, benefits realisation and continuous optimisation after deployment
• Work with Executive Directors, system partners and Nervecentre
• Ensure the EPR delivers measurable improvements in patient safety, care quality, operational efficiency and user experience
