Job summary

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an EPR Test Lead to oversee the planning, management and delivery of all testing for the Electronic Patient Record programme. You will coordinate SIT, UAT, data migration and go-live readiness, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

On-site presence is required at Sherwood Forest Hospitals a minimum of 3 days per week, with hybrid options available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all EPR testing activities to meet programme timescales and go-live requirements.
• Develop test plans and coordinate SIT, UAT, Operational Readiness, Data Migration and DITL testing.
• Oversee creation and execution of test scripts; ensure clinical, operational and technical workflows are validated.
• Manage defect logging, triage and resolution with suppliers, ensuring patient safety issues are escalated and recorded.
• Produce testing reports, dashboards and assurance documentation to support governance and deployment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, information governance and NHS standards across testing workstreams.
