Job summary

Belmont Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an NHS organisation for an EPR Floorwalker on an initial temporary contract with potential extension. Rate is negotiable. Role can be nationwide with location and working arrangements to be confirmed.

The Floorwalker will support staff during the EPR rollout, help with navigation, troubleshooting, training, and feedback to project teams. Availability for shifts including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting an EPR system within an NHS/healthcare environment.
• Good understanding of clinical workflows and hospital processes.
• Experience providing on-site user support and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a busy clinical environment and under pressure.

I am currently recruiting for an NHS organisation who are offering an initial temporary contract for an EPR Floorwalker, with the potential for extension. The rate is negotiable depending on experience.

We are looking for an EPR Floorwalker. This role can be based nationwide, with location and working arrangements to be confirmed.

The right candidate will:

• Provide on-the-ground support to clinical and non-clinical staff during the implementation or rollout of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.
• Assist users with system navigation, functionality and day-to-day queries.
• Provide guidance and troubleshooting to resolve EPR-related issues.
• Support clinical staff with patient records, documentation, workflows and system processes.
• Escalate technical issues to the relevant IT and EPR support teams.
• Deliver basic training and guidance to staff to promote effective system use.
• Identify recurring issues and provide feedback to the project and implementation teams.
• Help minimise disruption to clinical services during EPR go-live and transition periods.

We require the following:

• Previous experience supporting an EPR system within an NHS or healthcare environment.
• Good understanding of clinical workflows and hospital processes.
• Experience providing face-to-face user support and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a busy clinical environment and support users under pressure.
• Flexible approach, with availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
• Experience with Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), CareFlow or other NHS EPR platforms would be advantageous.
