Belmont Recruitment is assisting an NHS organisation by recruiting an experienced EPR Data Migration Specialist for a temporary contract, with potential for extension. The role supports migrating patient records and clinical data into a new EPR system across NHS platforms.

The ideal candidate will have proven NHS data migration delivery, strong data cleansing/mapping skills, and experience with SQL/ETL and Excel, facilitating risk-managed cutovers and go-live activities.

Qualificações

• Experience migrating data between legacy systems and new EPR platforms.

• Knowledge of NHS information governance, GDPR and patient confidentiality.
• Experience with Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), CareFlow or similar NHS systems is desirable.

Responsabilidades

Good Afternoon,

I am currently recruiting for an NHS organisation who are offering an initial temporary contract for an EPR Data Migration Specialist, with the potential for extension. The rate is negotiable depending on experience.

We are looking for an experienced EPR Data Migration Specialist. This role can be based nationwide, with location and working arrangements to be confirmed.

The right candidate will:

• Lead and support the migration of patient records and clinical data from legacy NHS systems into a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.
• Undertake data extraction, cleansing, mapping, transformation and loading activities.
• Ensure patient records are transferred accurately, securely and without loss of critical clinical information.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation and quality assurance checks before and after migration.
• Work with clinical, operational, technical and data teams to resolve migration issues.
• Support migration testing, mock migrations, cutover planning and go-live activities.
• Identify and manage data migration risks, discrepancies and dependencies.
• Maintain migration documentation and provide progress reports to programme stakeholders.

We require the following:

• Proven experience delivering EPR data migration projects within the NHS or healthcare sector.
• Strong understanding of patient records, clinical data structures and NHS information systems.
• Experience with data extraction, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
• Experience migrating data between legacy clinical systems and new EPR platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of NHS information governance, GDPR and patient data confidentiality.
• Advanced Excel skills; SQL and ETL experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with EPR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), CareFlow or other NHS clinical systems would be desirable.
