Job summary

National Grid is seeking an EPC Project Manager to deliver high-voltage infrastructure projects across England and Wales. You will lead investments from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring governance, safety, regulatory compliance and value for money, with OFGEM engagement as needed.

Based in the Central West region (Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire), this hybrid role requires about three days on site per week, with some travel and home-working flexibility to support complex,

Qualifications

• Demonstrable track record delivering construction projects from inception to completion.
• Experience managing high-value HV power or infrastructure schemes.
• Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of health and safety requirements and best practice.
• Experience in NEC or similar contracts and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the investment process across pre-construction, delivery and close-out.
• Ensure governance, regulatory compliance and safety across projects.
• Coordinate contractors and internal teams to meet time, cost and specification.
• Fulfil the NEC Project Manager role across various contract types.
