Job summary

Integra Education North Ltd in Leeds is seeking an EOTAS Personal Assistant to support a young person with PDA and ADHD. The role is 3–4 hours daily, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working and a pay rate of £19–£23 per hour. Start ASAP. You must have a driving licence, access to a car and an enhanced DBS on update service.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in planning fun, outdoor activities with the young person
• Support the young person at their pace while expanding opportunities
• Build trusting relationships with the young person, family, therapists and other professionals
• Demonstrate a calm, patient, flexible and non-judgemental approach
• Encourage independence while providing appropriate support
• Follow the young person's lead and adapt to needs
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare are prioritised in all activities
• Work in a hybrid setting with local activities and home-based support

About the Role

We are looking for a relatable, energetic and open-minded Personal Assistant to support an active young personcurrently educated other than at school (EOTAS), who has PDA Profile and ADHD.

Who We Are Looking For

This role would be an ideal fit for someonewho is naturally relatable and energetic.

• Understanding of PDA: Experience with or an understanding of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
• Positive & Relatable
• Physically Able: Must have full physical ability (no movement or pain limitations) to assist and support during physical activities.
• Direct & Reliable: Open, straightforward communicator.
• Robust knowledge of neurodiversity.
• Experience supporting individuals who experience anxiety and emotional overwhelm.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Requirements:

• Driver: Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own car.
• Experience working with PDA
• Ehnanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply.
• Non Smoker
• Strong admin skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents, therapists, and other professionals.
