Job summary

Let\'s Educate is seeking a patient, nurturing Personal Assistant to support a young person with autism, ADHD and PDA under an EOTAS package. The role is 4 hours per week in term time and 10 hours per week during holidays, with a pay rate up to £40PH DOE, based in SL4, start ASAP.

You will work closely with a MDT, building trust, remaining calm, and enabling everyday life activities like swimming, gaming and visits to parks, while fostering independence and life skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant SEN experience in a similar role.
• Experience with ASD, PDA and ADHD.
• Calm, flexible and patient by nature.
• Trauma-informed, child-led approach.
• Able to support learning through interests rather than table-based teaching.
• Resilience and adaptability in dynamic settings.

Responsibilities

• Build trust and connection with a young person receiving education other than at school (EOTAS).
• Understand Autism, PDA and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.
• Remain calm in tricky moments and think creatively.
• Support independence and life skills through everyday activities.
• Work collaboratively with MDT.
• Facilitate incidental learning through the young person’s interests.
