Job summary

Worley in London seeks a Technical Consultant I, Environmental Scientist to support contaminated land assessment and remediation projects. Based in a London office, the role is full-time and permanent, with opportunities for training, mentoring and international experience.

You will deliver desk studies, site investigations, risk assessments, remediation options appraisals, and prepare high-quality technical reports.

Qualifications

• Degree level preferred (Master's) in Geology, Environmental Science or related field.
• Strong report writing and data interpretation skills.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally for field projects.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of contaminated land assessment and remediation projects: desk studies, site investigations, risk assessments, remediation options appraisals, remedial design and verification.
• Undertake the NEC Supervisor role for contaminated land remediation projects and support the NEC Project Manager. Training will be provided; some experience preferred.
• Data management: review and interpretation.
• Preparation of high-quality technical reports.
• Field work including managing contractors on site.
• Manage project health and safety on site including HSSE plans and method statements; ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.
