Qualifications

• On-site experience of site investigation and field works
• Experience in Phase 1 contaminated land/geo-environmental desk studies
• Knowledge of planning, designing and management of site investigations
• Experience of soil logging
• Knowledge of the CDM Regulations in site investigations
• Knowledge of the land contamination regime in the UK and risk-based assessment
• Report writing and data handling; GIS knowledge desirable

Responsibilities

• Site work including supervision and management of site investigations
• Field work including soil logging, environmental sampling and ground gas monitoring
• Data collation, review and interpretation
• Support with site investigation design
• Preparation of technical reports including desk studies, site investigation reports, remediation studies and verification reports
• Ensuring that all work is delivered in line with procedures and to safety standards
