Job summary

WSP is seeking Contaminated Land / Geo-environmental Consultants to support site investigations and remediation projects across the UK. The role focuses on fieldwork, data interpretation, and collaborative report development within a growing ground and water team.

You will contribute to Phase 1 desk studies, perform soil logging, oversee sub-contractors, and help prepare technical reports while adhering to CDM and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• On-site experience of site investigation and other field works.
• Experience in Phase 1 contaminated land/geo-environmental desk studies.
• Knowledge of planning, designing and management of site investigations.
• Experience of soil logging and CDM regulations.
• Knowledge of the UK land contamination regime and risk-based assessment.

Responsibilities

• Site work including supervision and management of site investigations.
• Field work including soil logging, environmental sampling and ground gas monitoring.
• Data collation, review and interpretation.
• Support with site investigation design.
• Preparation of technical reports including desk studies, site investigation reports and remediation studies.
• Ensure work meets safety, health and environmental standards.
