Job summary

Candover Green Ltd is seeking an experienced Environmental & Compliance Manager to own all environmental and regulatory compliance across site operations. You will lead permitting, reporting, and regulatory submissions, ensuring legal obligations are met and sustainability goals be advanced.

You will sit on the site leadership team, drive integration of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, monitor UK regulations and translate changes into practical actions for operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental compliance within metals or waste/resource recovery sectors.
• Knowledge of Environmental Permitting Regulations and UK environmental legislation.
• Experience managing permits, water discharge consents, and waste shipments.
• Familiarity with ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001).
• Strong communication across operations and leadership teams.

They are seeking an experienced Environmental & Compliance Manager to take ownership of all environmental and regulatory compliance across their site operations. This is a key leadership role within the local management team, ensuring the business not only meets its legal obligations but stays ahead of evolving legislation—supporting sustainable growth and operational excellence.
