Job summary

The Skills Coalition in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, is seeking an Environmental Officer to join their head office on a full-time basis. You will lead the Integrated Management System training, ensure statutory and environmental compliance, and deliver Environmental Plans across contracts and sites.

You will work with management, clients and project stakeholders to drive improvements, maintain the ISO 14001 framework, and promote a proactive environmental culture throughout the company.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience in the field.
• IEMA Foundation Certificate in EnvironmentalManagement.
• Understanding of gas and oil industry (preferred).
• Experience with ISO 14001 audits.
• Experience with CDM 2015 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop the team regarding the Integrated Management System and legislative requirements.
• Manage and maintain an audit regime for statutory and environmental compliance.
• Produce and deliver Environmental Plans to support operational objectives.
• Produce and deliver environmental calendar events and monthly reports.
