Zusammenfassung

Global Ardour Recycling in Preston is seeking an Environmental and Compliance Advisor to join our HSEQ team. You will provide environmental and regulatory support across UK operations, helping sites meet permit requirements and maintain ISO 14001 accreditation, while driving continuous improvement.

Based at the Preston site with nationwide travel, you will work with site management to implement policies, coordinate audits, handle environmental returns, and liaise with regulators and stakeholders

Qualifikationen

• Experience in recycling, waste management or industrial environments with environmental permits.
• Good knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in environmental auditing, reporting and compliance management.
• WAMITAB and/or IEMA qualification preferred.
• Excellent MS 365 skills, especially Excel.

Aufgaben

• Provide front-line environmental and compliance support across UK sites.
• Support ISO 14001 accreditation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System.
• Undertake environmental audits and related assurance activities, tracking actions to completion.
• Ensure permits are understood and complied with and reported to regulators.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual environmental returns.
• Maintain monitoring records and reports for air, land and water as required.
• Collaborate with Site Managers, regulators and other stakeholders.
