Job summary

Electrium is seeking an Environmental Advisor to join our Hindley Green facility. You will champion environmental governance, drive ISO 14001 and 50001 activities, and maintain legal registers to support compliance and efficiency.

Key duties include analysing performance data and driving waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives aligned with corporate carbon goals. Strong stakeholder engagement and regulatory knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of Environmental & Energy Management Systems (ISO 14001/ISO 50001).
• Knowledge of UK and applicable international environmental and energy legislation.
• Familiarity with sustainability metrics, KPIs, and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High levels of professionalism, integrity, and personal drive.

Responsibilities

• Be instrumental in ensuring robust environmental governance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Lead and coordinate ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certification activities.
• Maintain environmental and energy legal registers, conduct compliance evaluations, and provide evidence records.
• Collect, analyse, and report environmental and energy performance data, KPIs, and trends.
• Drive initiatives for resource efficiency, waste minimisation, and pollution prevention.
• Contribute significantly to long-term sustainability objectives and carbon reduction strategies.
