Job summary

HS2 Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Advisor based in Birmingham to support Routewide Delivery or Routewide & Logistics teams.

You will ensure compliance with environmental requirements, lead audits, deliver training, and act as the main environmental contact for sublots, promoting continuous improvement across the project. The role requires a degree in an environmental or scientific discipline, strong IT skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Degree in an environmental or scientific discipline is required or equivalent career experience.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Good IT skills with competency in Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Main environmental contact for Routewide Delivery or Routewide & Logistics teams.
• Ensure compliance with Construction Code of Practice and environmental requirements.
• Attend site mobilisations/demobilisations and liaise with environmental leads.
• Develop and implement environmental processes and documentation for RWL disciplines.
• Lead environmental training and roll out initiatives for routewide consistency.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement across the team.
