Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support infrastructure projects across the South Coast on a hybrid basis. You will provide practical environmental guidance to site teams, help implement strategies and ensure compliance with environmental legislation and management systems.

Candidates should hold an environmental qualification (ISEP or equivalent) or degree, with construction or utilities sector experience and strong communication skills to influence operations

Qualifications

• ISEP or equivalent environmental qualification or degree required.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure or utilities sectors.
• Solid understanding of environmental legislation and EMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical environmental guidance to site and operational teams.
• Support the implementation of environmental strategies, policies and management systems.
• Conduct site inspections and environmental audits.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor environmental performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage subcontractors and supply chain to meet environmental requirements.
