Job summary
Principal People are recruiting an Environmental Advisor to support major infrastructure projects across Thames Valley on a hybrid basis. You will provide practical environmental guidance to site teams, drive compliance and embed best practices across projects.
Seeking an Environmental Qualification (ISEP or equivalent) or degree, with construction/infrastructure experience and strong communication to influence teams. ISEP membership is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction/infrastructure/utilities sectors.
- Good understanding of environmental legislation and environmental management systems.
- Ability to engage and influence operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide practical environmental advice to site and operational teams across the framework.
- Support implementation of environmental strategies, policies and management systems.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
- Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.
- Monitor environmental performance and support continuous improvement.
- Assist subcontractors and supply chain in meeting environmental requirements.
