This is an opportunity to work closely with the construction team on a significant infrastructure scheme, providing practical environmental advice and ensuring environmental commitments are delivered on site.

The role

Reporting into the project's environmental management team, you will help identify and manage environmental risks throughout construction. You'll work alongside engineers, site managers and subcontractors to put effective controls in place and maintain compliance with legislation, consents and project requirements.

Responsibilities

About you

We're looking for an environmental professional who enjoys working on site and can translate environmental requirements into clear, practical guidance.

You will ideally have

  • A relevant qualification in environmental science, environmental management, ecology or a related discipline.
  • A working knowledge of Scottish environmental legislation and construction environmental controls.
