Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is recruiting an Environmental Advisor for an infrastructure portfolio based in Glasgow with travel across Scotland. The role is permanent, 39 hour week, and offers a salary around £45,000 plus benefits.

Based at the Glasgow office two days a week and traveling three days, you will work closely with power, civils, electrification and installation projects, performing site-facing environmental duties, audits and reporting while supporting and coaching project teams.

Qualifications

• Environmental / Sustainability HNC or equivalent (or above).
• Practical experience within a site or project environment.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, rail, energy or a similar sector.
• Good communication skills and confidence working with site teams.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
• The flexibility to travel across Scotland.

Role – Environmental Advisor (INFRASTRUCTURE)

Location: Glasgow, with travel across Scotland

Salary: Circa £45,000 + benefits

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 39 hour week Monday-Friday

A major infrastructure contractor is looking to recruit a highly experienced Environmental Advisor to support a growing portfolio of projects across Scotland.

The environmental advisor will be based at their Glasgow office 2 days a week with 3 days travelling across Scotland. You'll work across a range of, power, civils, electrification and installation projects. This is a practical, site-facing role where you'll work closely with operational and project teams rather than being purely office or policy-based.

The role of the Environmental Advisor

You'll be involved across a broad environmental remit, including:

• Environmental inspections, audits and compliance
• Ecology and environmental constraint, Waste management, Noise and vibration, Carbon and sustainability
• Environmental KPIs, reporting and data analysis
• Environmental workshops and briefings
• Supporting and coaching site and operational teams
• Working with clients and project teams on environmental matters

There will be regular travel across Scotland, with occasional overnight stays and some night or weekend work where required by project activities.
