Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Environmental and Compliance Advisor to support environmental compliance across operations. You will report to the Head of Environmental & Compliance, providing practical advice, guidance and assurance to site teams to ensure operations align with permits, waste regulation and internal standards.

You will possess environmental compliance experience in regulated environments, strong knowledge of UK legislation, and leadership capability to inspire teams toward

Qualifications

• Environmental compliance experience within waste, recycling, resource management, industrial services, logistics or other regulated environments.
• Strong working knowledge of UK environmental legislation and permitting.
• Chartered status or membership of a relevant professional body.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical advice, guidance and assurance on environmental legislation, permits, and licences across operations.
• Support internal compliance systems, audit plans and routine assurance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in environmental performance across sites and oversee waste classification and material movements.
